Daniel began playing hockey at age 4 in Dallas, TX. He played through all level of youth hockey including Midget AA for the Dallas Storm and high school hockey for MIHC. Daniel graduated early from high school, skipping his senior year, to play junior A hockey in the NAHL. He played 2 years of junior A hockey in the NAHL followed by 2 years of junior B hockey in the WSHL.
Daniel attends school full time at Collin County Community College and is a USA hockey level 1 official with MHOA. He began coaching during the 2007-2008 season with MIHC. Daniel was the head coach of the Varsity Gold / Midget AA team and an assistant coach with the Varsity Silver / Midget A team.
Daniel has instructed kids of all ages, from squirts to high school/midget. His expectations as a coach are simple: everyone works hard both on and off the ice, play as a team, demonstrate discipline, and have fun.
